Jessica Heller is a storyteller at heart. She's spent nearly 15 years crafting narratives and winning proposals for international architecture firms, but her debut novel—an upmarket thriller set on Maui—marks her return to the work she loves most: writing.

Jessica holds a degree in journalism from San Francisco State University. Her work has appeared in San Francisco Business Times, California Weekend Magazine, and 7x7 Magazine. Before moving to Portland in 2022, she spent over a decade wandering and writing about San Francisco through her blog, Limitless San Francisco.

She lives in Portland, Oregon, with her partner, Sherwin, who grew up on Maui, and their adventurous cat, Limu. When she's not writing, Jessica can be found exploring the Pacific Northwest, planning her next trip, or searching for the perfect cup of coffee.
